It all started when...

Connor auditioned for the Santa Fe Opera's Children's Chorus in May of 2005. Up to that point he had never considered opera, broadway, or any other performing art a part of his life. But, that audition and the time he spent singing for the Santa Fe Opera started him on a path of performance and musical study leading him to Los Angeles and eventually Chicago Illinois.

In high school, Connor performed major roles in a variety of musical theater productions. He also competed with the nationally ranked show choir the Zionsville Royalaires. After attending an Interlochen Arts Academy summer camp, Connor auditioned for music programs across the country, and decided to attend USC Thornton in Los Angeles.

Connor's time at USC established his artistic process, and provided him many opportunities to perform in professional quality operas and musicals. He studied with world renowned baritone Rodney Gilfry, soprano Angela Blasi, and tenor Don Brinegar. In his senior year, he received the Opera department's award for exceptional performance, as well as critical acclaim (Opera News Online 2016) for his work at the Aspen Summer Music Festival.

Connor has spent the last two years pursuing his Masters of Music at Northwestern University with Dr. Stephen Smith. He completed his studies in the spring of 2019 and is beginning his auditions and performances as a young artist in Chicago and abroad.
