Lessons with Connor

I am a graduate of the Northwestern Bienen School of Music (M.M. 2019) and the USC Thornton School of Music (B.M. 2016). I Have studied voice performance with world-renowned pedagogue Dr. W. Stephen Smith, baritone Rod Gilfry, soprano Angela Blasi, and tenor Don Brinegar. I have performed in professional operas at the Chicago Opera Theater, Aspen Summer Music Festival, and The Santa Fe Opera, as well as several award-winning musical theater productions at USC Thornton.

My approach To teaching voice, and the level of instruction will be appropriate for serious middle school and high school aged singers, as well as any who are interested in establishing healthy vocal and acting technique while working on increasing musicianship, and expressing through singing.

No prior musical training is required! But, the ability to read music or at least match pitch and and practice at home will greatly speed the learning process. Don't forget singing is supposed to be fun! the intensity of work will depend on a student's goals and ability.
